TIL: The Andromeda galaxy takes more more space in the sky than the moon

I always thought a galaxy resolved to around the same size as a star in the night sky, but some are way larger (in angular size) than the moon.

Below is a representation of how the Andromeda galaxy would look like next to the moon if it was bright enough to be visible with the naked eye.
